Bikes on buses, coaches and ferries
By ferry
Generally cycles can be taken by ferry and will need to be locked on the car deck. Some routes may charge extra for a cycle. You should check this with the ferry operator when booking your ticket.
By coach
National Express will take fully packaged dismantled cycles, provided space is available. Always call in advance: contact them on 08705 808080.
By bus
Most bus companies will take up to 3 fully packaged cycles, but you may be required to dismantle your bike to fit their space requirements. You may need to book a space for your bike. Call the operator of the company you are intending to use for more information, or call the LCC office for help on 020 7234 9310.
