Staff at the Diocese of Westminster’s head office in Victoria are being encouraged to cycle with the installation of showers, lockers and secure bike racks.
Training is also available for new cyclists to improve skills, with funding provided by Westminster Council.
A spokesperson for the church said, "The aim is to spread the message that our lifestyles – whether at home, in church or in the wider world – influence the environment, and that our respectful and careful stewardship is vital."
