On Saturday 5 June, ball and bike lovers will cycle to every football ground within the M25. From the mighty Thurrock FC to Premiership champions Chelsea, from Barnet’s Underhill to Arsenal’s Emirates, finishing at the beacon of British football - Wembley Stadium. 22 grounds, 150 miles, 1 day = Kick Ball Pedal Bike.
The ride is FREE to enter and sponsorship is not essential, however if you can raise some funds the cyclists are supporting two very important London charities: The Southall Black Sisters, who provide shelter for victims of domestic violence, and the London Cycling Campaign.
For those who think the 150 mile odyssey might be too much for them, there’s also the chance to join in for shorter sections of the route. Cycle for as much or as little as you want, or just cycle past your favourite clubs, everyone is welcome to take up the Kick Ball Pedal Bike challenge.
Ride organiser Thomas Moulton said, "We're looking forward to enjoying the glamour of the Premier League as well as the grit of the Blue Square conference.
“150 miles in the free-flowing countryside is difficult enough, but in the city's stop-start streets it's a massive challenge.
So, whether you love the ball or just the bike, whether you raise some money or just like a challenge, why not take part in this summer’s greatest adventure: Kick Ball Pedal Bike.
