Cyclist survey responses could prevent South Bank bike ban

Do you ever cycle in the South Bank? If so, Lambeth Council and the South Bank Partnership are asking for your views on cycle routes, parking and crime in the area.
There are moves afoot to ban cycling on the Thames Path, so it is important that cyclists' views are made clear.
LCC is campaigning for a shared-use scheme on the Thames Path with priority for pedestrians. We would also like to see an increase in the amount of cycle parking in the area.
Improvements to cycle routes in the area, such as reducing motor traffic on roads adjacent to the South Bank, would also benefit the area.
Safer roads in the area would encouraging cycle commuters to use these instead of the South Bank, with the latter remaining the preserve of leisure cyclists and pedestrians.
Follow the link on the right to take the survey and make sure cyclists' voices are heard.
