Fashion2Ride cycle fashion show

Over the last 6 months 8 pupils from Charter Secondary school have been taking part in the Bike It Fashion2Ride project, which has been developed by the sustainable transport charity, Sustrans with support from Transport for London and Southwark Borough Council.

The project aims to raise the level of interest in cycling amongst girls aged 14-15 through a combination of design workshops, cycle training supplied by, and design events.

On Thursday 12th June students showed off their very own cycle wear designs before cycling from Dulwich to Somerset House to visit the Skin and Bones design exhibition.

The culmination of the event is a cycle fashion show which will take place at Charter School on Friday 27th June.
