We originally planned to review this pair in the Xmas issue, but cold temperatures meant these lightweight items didn't get many outings until March. Curiously, Gore markets them as winter gloves, but they're much more suitable for spring and autumn.
Styled in an understated manner, they only come in black with subtle reflective trim. The fit is pleasingly snug and the super-breathable Windstopper fabric is light, though with just enough padding to take the edge off long rides. Other features include long-ish elasticated cuffs and comfortable nose wipes on both thumbs. Overall, the Xenons are a highly practical addition to the cyclist’s spring wardrobe.
