Grants to support community cycling in London available from the 4th September 2013
Do you have an idea to promote cycling in your local community and help improve people's lives?
If you're involved in a community cycling project or thinking about setting one up you might be eligible to apply to one of the £5,000 grants available to boost community cycling in London.
The Community Cycling Fund for London (CCFL), administered by the London Cycling Campaign on behalf of Transport for London, supports new or established groups to run community based projects that enable people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the benefits of cycling.
In the last 10 years, the CCFL has worked with schools, community groups, residents’ associations, cycling clubs, all ability cycling organisations and youth organisations to promote cycling to all kind of Londoners, including many less privileged groups.
Check out the many inspirational success stories.
The CCFL will accept applications between the 4 and 23 September. The application will be available to download from LCC’s website from the 4 September. For more information about the application process, examples of successful past projects and general information about CCFL, check our community cycling webpage.
