London Cycling Campaign in Hackney operate in Hackney, Homerton, Wick, Stoke Newington, Clapton, Dalston, De Beauvoir, Hoxton and Shoreditch to get people cycling and improve things for people who want to cycle.
They lobby their local council and TfL for improvements, as well as working to promote the benefits of cycling, to improve skills by cycle training, putting on rides, social events and fundraisers and holding their popular self-help maintenance workshop.
They hold monthly meetings on the first Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm at the Marcon Court Estate Community Hall on Amhurst Road, E8. (Look for the standalone building near the junction with Marcon Place and bring your bike inside. It can be locked it to the railings upstairs or taken inside the hall.)
