Our Office Manager Lu is looking for a pro-active and computer literate person to volunteer at our office 1-2 days each week.
Past volunteers speak highly of the experience (see below), and we provide £5 lunch per day and travel expenses.
You'll join a friendly and committed team of staff and volunteers at our office in SE1, not far from London Bridge station.
You'll be given plenty of help and guidance, but also responsibility, helping out with our Campaigners Conference (Sat 8 Sept), as well as our forthcoming Trustee Elections and Annual General Meeting (Wed 14 Nov)
You'll also be helping out the day-to-day running of our busy office.
If you're interested, please send a short CV and covering email to Lu Everett at email@example.com.
Previous office volunteer Stephanie Siu (see photo above) says:
"After being made redundant in 2011, and with some time to spare, I decided to volunteer at London Cycling Campaign HQ to fill the gap between jobs.
"Working there allowed me to use existing skills and learn new ones, which helped to enhance my CV.
"I enjoyed learning about recent and forthcoming campaigns, making lots of new friends, and getting involved in fun events that I wouldn't normally have taken part in.
"Overall, it was a rich and rewarding experience that I'd recommend to anyone."
