LCC is calling on every lorry driver to be given cycle-awareness training, and has praised Lambeth Council for leading the way in London.
Lambeth Council gives all its drivers on-bike training, so they're more aware of the dangers to cyclists while they're driving their vehicles.

All employers of lorry drivers are being encouraged to voluntarily sign drivers up for cycle-awareness training.
LCC wants the measure to become a permanent part of the UK's statutory lorry driver training.
