LCC has told rail operator London Overground that it needs to be more flexible to ensure commuters using bicycles have better access to trains.
The north London rail operator has a blanket ban on its network between 7am and 10am, and again from 4pm to 7pm, despite admitting that many train services are not crowded during these hours.
LCC campaigns manager Tom Bogdanowicz said, "This policy is a blunt instrument. It's unnecessarily harsh on cyclists, and it loses revenue for London Overground."
