LCC to launch women-specific cycling website
Following on from the success of Birds on Bikes, a ride to celebrate International Women’s Day, LCC is busy building a website focused on women who cycle.
The dedicated site will cover specifics to do with women cyclists and their bikes.
We’re keen to present cycling as a normal lifestyle choice and sport for many women in the hope that it might encourage others to follow suit or to use the site as a useful reference point.
One of the key elements of the women's site will be the interview section. We have spoken to women of all ages who ride or work with bikes: from world champions to couriers to mechanics to girls, pensioners, commuters, and trainers.
