Local groups win Cycle Hire improvements
LCC borough groups in Zone 1 have influenced the Cycle Hire 'complementary measures', designed to augment the scheme launching on 30 July 2010.

LCC has been lobbying extensively for a Zone 1 BikeGrid, a proper network of cycle lanes spanning central London in a north-south and east-west criss-cross manner.
