Massive Turnout for London Bike Week
National Bike Week organisers say that across Britain Bike Week had 1,626 events registered by 1,125 organisers. According to the figures provided by local organisers, there were approximately over quarter of a million participants.

At a Bike Breakfast in Islington hundreds of cycle users, as well as Emily Thornberry MP, turned up for coffee and cake and a free bike repair clinic.
More than 50 children brought in their bikes for a special cycling day to Gillespie School in Highbury – Channel 4 news presenter, John Snow, and Jeremy Corbyn MP came to the event.
More than 40 participants turned up for just one of the architecture rides organised by Southwark Cyclists, and LCC corporate affiliates Feilden Clegg Bradley architects.
More than a hundred people attended the launch of the Reinventing the Bike Shed exhibition at the On Your Bike cycle shop in Tooley Street ,SE1
