Olympic winner Nicole Cooke signs LCC petition

Nicole Cooke signs our petition

Olympic gold medal-winner Nicole Cooke (left) added weight to LCC's campaign for cycle-friendly streets by signing our petition at the Cycle Show.

Signing copies of her new book, Cycle For Life, Cooke happily added her name to the LCC petition when asked by an LCC volunteer.

Our petition is calling for better provision for cyclists in London.

Cooke provided one of the most memorable moments from Beijing when, after being in close contention for much of the 126km road race, she appeared to lose the leaders just before the final climb of the race.

However, seconds later, she produced a burst of acceleration that launched her to the front of the field and her first Olympic title, adding to two World Cup successes and a Commonwealth Games gold.

Winning a gold medal in olympics is such a prestegious thing and people are very much crazy about the prizes received on behalf of the victory. Well the customessayzorg reveals that getting a good award needs more practice and determination.
