What would a Borough Group need to do?
The aim is to build up a core of a few people who would undertake various tasks. The main roles below can be done by various people.
Attend the LCC Borough Group Forum four times a year
Dates in 2005:
- Thurs 3rd March
- Weds 4th May
- Tues 6th September
- Mon 5th December (includes Christmas social)
Liaise with the Borough Cycling officer on cycling schemes
You do not need specialist engineering knowledge, just experience as a 'user' of borough roads as a cyclist.
Be a point of contact for cyclists in the Borough
This would be for LCC members and the general public who may want to know more about cycling.
There's also scope for liaising with neighbouring LCC Groups on campaigning matters, social events, and rides.
Don't forget, you also get support from the LCC office!
