TfL funded cycling project nominated for Green Guardian Awards
Pedal4Health, a cycling project offering cycle training for families in Sutton and Merton, is through the first round of the Green Guardian Awards.
The TfL and LCC supported community project has now been invited to the Merton Awards evening on 2nd February.
Winners from the borough led awards are put forward to regional awards where they compete against each other to win the overall regional award for their specific category.
This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Friday 26th February at the south London based five star Wyndham Grand hotel, Chelsea Harbour. The night will include a drinks reception and a 3-course meal.
Pedal4Health founder Fred Ellis is keen to attend both events:
‘The Merton event is being held at the Morden Registry Office. I rang my co-instructor Heather Shepherd and asked her if she would come to the Registry Office with me. Sadly, I have not heard from her since'.
