TfL urges Londoners to cycle

On Monday 18th April TfL launched a new campaign to get Londoners out on their bikes. They have commissioned three 'infocommercials' which will be shown on ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 for two weeks from 18th April.

These one minute films feature different types of cyclists; families, young professionals and young people and their positive experiences of cycling in London.

The aim of this campaign is to get Londoners to get out their bikes and enjoy the capital. Recent research shows that cycling in London is growing faster than anywhere else in the UK, but that there are also lots of unused bikes in peoples homes.

Transport for London is commited to making London a safe and cycle friendly city. Visit their website for more information about this campaign and planned investment programmes that are underway.
