Tour of Britain
Make a date in your diary for Sunday 3rd September. That's the day the Tour of Britain comes to town with a brand new 80km route taking in London's key landmarks.
Starting in Greenwich Park, some of the world's top pro cyclists will then ride over Tower Bridge, through the City of London and northwards towards the route earmarked for the 2012 Olympics road race, up and over Hampstead Heath then down to Regent's Park, through Hyde Park on to the Tour de France Prologue route and finally in to St James's Park for 20 laps of the park's perimeter to the finish.
Guided LCC rides
Several LCC groups will be organising guided rides to watch the race. Check this site nearer the time to find out what's happening in your borough.
