Try your luck against Lance at the Tour de France roadshow

The Tour de France roadshow will be stopping off at Meridian Square in Stratford on Saturday 9th December to give people the chance to test their stamina against cycling pros.

Tour de France legend Lance Armstrong and London’s very own Olympic cycling record breaker Bradley Wiggins will be taking part, giving people the chance to match their speeds against the pros on simulation bikes.

For those who don’t fancy their chances against Lance and Bradley, there’ll also be competitions, quizzes and games, as well as the opportunity to sign up to become a volunteer marshal over the Prologue and Stage One routes of next year’s Tour de France.

Over the next seven months the Roadshow, organised by Transport for London, will be out and about across London and Kent, giving the public the chance to find out more about London hosting the Tour de France Grand Depart weekend on 7th July, 2007.

In line with LCC's Active Spectator strategy, we will be organising led rides to a dedicated LCC space in Hyde Park to watch the Tour de France prologue. Follow the links on the right to find out more about the Tour de France, LCC’s Active Spectator strategy, or your local LCC group.

The best way to stay in touch and support LCC’s involvement with the Tour de France is to become a member. As well as funding our work, members campaign with us locally and across the capital. Join us today. Together we can make London a world class cycling city.
