Two more years funding for the LCC's Community Cycling Project

Over the last two years, LCC’s Community Cycling Project has made a real difference to a diverse range of communities wanting to realise the benefits of cycling but have so far not been able to because of often cultural or financial barriers.

A history of successful projects

Successes have included the award winning Jagonari Cycles! project and a community workshop and exchange scheme developed with Time Banks UK, the community skills exchange project.

New partners found

The project has been funded over the last 2 years by Lottery funding which ends in December but we are delighted to announce that LCC will be going into partnership with “Good Going” the Transport for London funded travel awareness campaign from January 2006.  This ensures the future of the project for a further 2 years in order to deliver ever more ground breaking projects.   LCC is grateful to both Good Going and Transport for London in enabling the continuation of the project.

There are some interesting points in time in this article but I don’t know if I see all of them center to heart. There is some validity but I will take hold opinion until I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner as well
