Video LCC says the South Bank can be shared use with considerate cycling
Cyclists who use the South Bank between Lambeth and Westminster bridges are calling for new No Cycling signs to be removed.
LCC supports a pedestrian-priority, considerate cycling policy, and has the support of the local Living Streets (formerly the Pedestrian Association) organisation.
In 2009 LCC encouraged cyclists to make their views known to Lambeth Council when a public consultation took place on future use of the South Bank.
Cyclists wanting to support considerate cycling on the South Bank should make their views known to Lambeth Council by email.
