Wandsworth Cycling Campaign (WCC) is the local group of LCC in the London Borough of Wandsworth. They exist for the benefit of everyone who cycles or might cycle in and through the borough of Wandsworth.
Their vision is for Wandsworth to be a borough where cycling is a natural transport choice for everyone.
They campaign for a better environment for cycling as a means of transport, more cyclists and more journeys by bike and responsible, courteous cycling with proper consideration for other road users.
To do this they lobby authorities, meet with local councillors, MPs and others, give input into consultations, comment on Traffic Management Orders, support individuals campaigning on specific issues, participate in community projects, organise events and provide information about cycling.
They meet on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings start at 7.00pm and usually last between 1 and 2 hours. From September to June the meeting is at the Friends Meeting House in Wandsworth High Street, followed by a social gathering in The Brewers Inn. In July and August they meet in the beer garden of the County Arms at 345 Trinity Road, SW18 3SH.
