360 cyclists but no Superhighway for the Old Kent Road

Transport for London said:
“Thank you also for your comments about cycling along New Cross Road.
We have made a careful note of your concerns and will continue to monitor safety here. 
We currently have no plans to install a cycle lane in the area you describe, as it would not be compatible with the design in place. 
Please be assured that a full safety audit was conducted on the scheme prior to its implementation, and it did not raise any safety concerns for cyclists in this area. “

I use New Cross Road a lot. The bit in the video, is that down near the bus garage? Hard to tell, but it looks like it to me. The Lewisham borough group has bits of the new cross road further south on its radar at the moment. If you think we need to take up this issue, we'd be interested to hear your arguments.
