Scottish safe overtaking advert banned!

Has anyone seen this story?

A Scottish TV ad encouraging drivers to give cyclists more space when overtaking has been banned after receiving 5 complaints because the advert featured a cyclist not wearing a helmet and riding a distance out from the kerb.

The advertising standards agency said "we were concerned that whilst the cyclist was more than 0.5 metres from the kerb, they appeared to be located more in the centre of the lane when the car behind overtook them and the car almost had to enter the right lane of traffic."

Imagine that, the car almost had to cross the mid-line of the road to overtake!

The ASA banned this ad on the basis of five complaints. Can we all make a complaint about the decision? I'm sure we can get more than five!
