Do you mean DIY signing rather than approaching the local highway authority and getting them to do it legit? I've contacted my local authority and got them to put up some signs to make drivers aware of contra-flow cycling.

Well, I was actually thinking of flagging where officers won't warn road users of the perils they have created, and elected members admit the mistake. Strangely, they are trying to persuade us from doing it at our cost.
