Two articles on traffic on BBC London news today
Firstly - how long people spend in traffic queues in London - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-25622364 82 hours on average it claims (I wonder how that figure was arrived at!)
Secondly moving on from last weeks announcement about 30 plus junctions being redesigned a specific £4 billion plan has been announced. Sadly it has missed Vauxhall Cross off which given thevast amount of new housing and development in the area is a major issue.
Would be great to see cars in London being given the same treatment as Portland in the USA... There is no need to drive - look at the superstars of the US basketball team in the Olympics and the German soccer team last year - both took the Tube. Public transport links make cars slow and redundant.
