Visiting London, looking for someone to ride with

Hello everyone,

 

My name is Yoav. I'm 30 Cyclist, from Israel. I will be visiting London this October (17th-22th) and I'm looking forward to ride in the area a little bit.

I usually ride on trails / cross-country (XC) style. Since I know nothing about good singles and routes in the London area, I would appreciate your help in the manner. If you can direct me to as where I can rent bicycles, where can I cycle & with whom can I cycle with - I will be most grateful.

For good singletrack try Epping Forest, the Surrey Hills, Bedgebury

LFGSS is a great place to meet fellow riders, or contact some of the MTB shops in these areas - they often organise social rides

otherwise, London's cycling clubs often to MTB routes, though more so in the winter when the roads are icey
