Greenwich Park: Junction of Blackheath Avenue/Great Cross Avenue SE10 8EJ

This is part of a series of six Dr Bike events organised by the Royal Parks and Westminster Cycling Campaign that will help you keep your bike on the road this autumn.

This event will include:

  • Dr Bike: free cycle safety check and maintenance advice.
  • Cycle security marking: Get your bike registered by the Metropolitan Police to deter thieves and help police and retailers identify stolen bikes.
  • 'Exchanging Places': enabling cyclists to experience a HGV driver's view of the road and get a better understanding of the blind spots around the vehicle. This raises awareness of the dangers of collisions between cyclists and trucks. http://youtu.be/UN7mJR64tvs
  • Cycling information: free leaflets and advice, including information about considerate cycling in the Royal Parks. This is also an opportunity for cyclists to find out more about LCC.

Thanks are due to the Royal Parks Agency, Royal Borough of Greenwich and the Metropolitan Police for making this event possible.

Please mention that you saw this event on the LCC website, so we know how many people have seen this listing.
