Ealing Garden Suburbs

Ealing boasts two leafy garden suburbs, both of which claim to be the first of their kind in the UK.

This easy-paced ride takes in Bedford Park near Turnham Green and the Brentham Estate in North Ealing.

Your ride leader will provide some historical background, and point out town planning and architectural features of interest as we cruise through quiet residential streets. You can then decide which estate's claim is the stronger.

A classic London cycle ride featured in the London Cycling Guide (http://www.amazon.co.uk/London-Cycling-Guide-Tom-Bogdanowicz/dp/1847739342/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1326707475&sr=1-1).

River and Parks Ride

This ride demonstrates just how far you can go in West London without having to interface too much with motorised vehicles, taking in Richmond Park, Hampton Court and Bushy Park. Wind along traffic free riverside paths alongside the Thames as it rolls past the stunning scenery.
