Haringey Community Cycling Event @ Sporticulture Day - Broadwater Farm, N17
SPORTICULTURE DAY 1pm-5pm
Location: Broadwater Farm Community Centre, 1 Adams Road, N17 6HEIncluding sports participation programme, and the Tottenham annual horticulture (flower and produce) showWhy not join in the FREE cycling activities...Haringey Council in partnership with Transport for London, London Cycling Campaign and the Lordship Trax Cycle Club have organised a cycle-themed programme for Saturday 24th September . All activities are free - but some of them require registration (see below). It will take place adjacent to Broadwater Farm Community Centre, as part of the Sporticulture Day's events.- Bring your bike for a health check by Dr Bike! - Visit the Lordship Trax Club stall and sign up to be a member. Hear about their weekly youth sessions!- Want to learn to ride? Register for our cycle training session for adults- Kids register for our bike maintenance workshop- Register now for the all-ability cycle ride. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. (You can turn up on the day but places on the ride are limited so please book in advance)1pm: Event opens. Dr Bike, route planning and cycle advice, plus Trax Club information stall - throughout the event until 5pm.1pm-2.30pm: Cycle training session – Level 1 (targeted for adults)1pm-2.30pm: Bike maintenance workshop for kids3pm-4pm: Led bike ride for beginners (targeted at adults).
