IBikeLondon Christmas Ride
Its time to don your Santa costumes and your Christmas lights, the season of cheer is here! For the occasion, IBikeLondon is organising another one of its social events on Saturday 7th December. Join us for a fun Christmas themed bike ride in South and Central London that will end at the Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park!
We will be meeting in front of City Hall (The Queen's Walk, SE1 2AA) at 1:30pm (the nearest tube is London Bridge) with the aim to start the ride at 2:00pm. The ride will be mostly flat and covers a distance of 17 miles (28km). The route is mostly traffic free and the pace will be relaxed.
After departing from City Hall we will head south towards Burgess Park, going through Bermondsey Spa Gardens. We will then head towards Vauxhall Bridge and cycle west along the river, towards Battersea Park. After crossing the beautifully lit Albert Bridge, we will follow the embankment all the way to Westminster and the Houses of Parliament. We then aim to cycle to Trafalgar Square to catch a sight of the Norwegian Christmas tree.
The last part of the ride will definitely be unforgettable as we take in the Christmas lights along Regents Street and Oxford Circus while making a head-turning spectacle ourselves; a band of Santas, reindeers and Christmas elves all on bicycles! What’s not to like! We whole-heartedly encourage you to dress up and light up to make it that much more fun and Christmassy for everyone! We will definitely bring along music bikes and Disco Boy will make a customary appearance with the Disco bike.
Our ride will end at Hyde Park, specifically at the Winter Wonderland. After the ride, we invite all the riders to join us for some well-deserved food, drinks, fun and Christmas cheer!

Due to the large size of the group, we estimate that our arrival time at Hyde Park will be around 5pm.
