To celebrate summer, IBikeLondon is organising another one of its social events on Sunday 7th July.  Join us for a short bike ride in South West London along the canal and the Thames, which will end with a giant picnic all together in a park.

We will be meeting in front of the Achilles statue in Hyde Park at 10:30am (the nearest tube is Hyde Park Corner on the Piccadilly Line) with the aim to start the ride at 11:00am.  The ride will be flat and covers a distance of 12 miles (20km).

After departing Hyde Park we will ride towards South Kensington. We will go through the Brompton Cemetery up to Imperial Wharf and Chelsea. We will then cross the river in Wandsworth and cycle along the Thames in Putney and Barnes.

The ride will end on the other side in Duke’s Meadow Park. We want to do a giant picnic with everyone, so bring food, drink and whatever you fancy!

Things to know: Everyone can join. You do not need to register. We do not provide the bikes. For your safety we recommend wearing a helmet, but you’re free not to. We are careful on the road, we pause at stop signs and lights and try not to disturb other road users. We will provide mechanical assistance if needed.
