Richmond CC ride in the Chilterns
Meet at Richmond Station 10.15 Under 60s get return ticket to Watford. We take the 10.29 train to Carpenters Park via Willesden. We cycle through the remnants of the Great North Wood before descending into the Colne Valley and up into the hills using quiet lanes. Lunch at the Seasons cafe at Rowan Garden centre. We cross the Chess valley at Latimer and circle round to Watford via Wippendale Wood and Cassiobury Park. Only 23 miles basic so we could extend the ride if the group is inclined.
