Talk by Alastair Humphreys - National Geographic's Adventurer of the year

Come and hear Alastair Humphreys, talk about his amazing exploits across the globe.

Alastair spent over 4 years cycling around the world, a journey of 46,000 miles through 60 countries and 5 continents. More recently Alastair has walked across southern India and rowed across the Atlantic Ocean; run 6 marathons through the Sahara desert; completed a crossing of Iceland; and participated in an expedition in the Arctic close to the magnetic North Pole. He is currently training for a journey to the South Pole.

Thursday 11th October 2012 at The Gallery, 70 Cowcross St, London EC1M 6EJ (near to Farringdon tube station).

Doors open 6 p.m. Talk starts 6.30 p.m. Refreshments available.
