The Woodpecker Ride
Meet Orpington Station, Station Approach side.
From Orpington we will head out to Halstead and then down to Old Polhill and through to Shoreham and Lullingstone for morning coffee. Then on to Eynsford and Horton Kirby. Bit of a steady uphill around the back of Brands Hatch and on to West Kingsdown. Then on through the Knatts Valley before heading back to Farningham where we might stop at the Lion Hotel for a drink and have a look at the Old Farningham Bridge, a Grade II listed structure.
Then back up to Crockenhill, St.Mary Cray and Orpington. Some hills, leisurely pace. 35ish miles.
