Waltham Forest Cycle Campaign's Monthly Ride
This month we are going to for a train assisted ride to Stevenage. So please come with your Oyster cards and Networks rail cards if you have them.
Stevenage is one of the new towns built near London after the 2nd World War. Amongst other things it is home a network of completely segregated cycleways, (and some of the tallest street lights in Britain). So Stevenage was home to Mini-Holland before the Dutch even hit on the idea.
So if you want to see some early cycling infrastructure or even just the birthplace of Jack Wilshere then come along on Sunday.
