Women Only Duathlon
The event takes place on the magnificent closed road circuit surrounding the 2012 Olympic velodrome in the QEOP Velopark, Stratford. The purpose built circuit is 1mile in length. The event format of run-bike-run, starts with with a 2mile (2 lap) first run then a 10mile (10 lap) bike section before finishing with a 1mile (1 lap) final run.
The event is chip timed with medals for the places in 16-19years, 20-39years, 40-49years and 50+years age bands. The event is open to all ability levels and is both an ideal venue for your first duathlon whilst at the same time provides a challenge for the more experienced duathletes and triathletes.
There are changing and showering facilities as well as cafés on site. Providing the backdrop to the event is the London Aquatic Centre (used for the 2012 Olympic swimming events), the 2012 athletics Stadium and the ArcelorMittal Orbit and the vast Westfield shopping centre.

This is is the second in the 3 event series and is run under British Triathlon rules.
DISTANCES: 2mile Run / 10mile Bike / 1mile Run
COST: £10 for Triathlon England members, £20 for non-Triathlon England members.
If there is space. entries will be taken on the day.
REGISTRATION: Opens 09:00am, closes 09:45am
RACE START: 10:00am
PRESENTATIONS: 11:15am (this may vary depending upon race progress).

VENUE: VeloPark, Abercrombie Road, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, E20 3AB.
- The event is Chip timed and you must return your chip after finishing the event. Failure to do so will result in a £50 surcharge, (The transponders are expensive.) By entering the event you are agreeing to this as part of the events T&C's.
- You are required to wear helmets while cycling at VeloPark. If you don’t have a helmet you may hire a helmet from the venue. The helmet must be worn correctly at all times when with a bike. If you bring your own it must meet the current UK safety standard - BS EN 1078:1997.
- Cycling and other activities available at VeloPark carry inherent risks. You should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for your own actions and involvement. If you're unsure whether you are able to participate in any activity, or if you have any questions please ask a member of staff before you enter into a contract or agree to partake in cycling at VeloPark.
