Since 2007, we've been administering the Community Cycling Fund for London (CCFL) on behalf of Transport for London.
CCFL helps make London a more people friendly city by tackling individual and community isolation, transport deprivation and unemployment and making cycling accessible to all Londoners regardless of their economic situation or background.
We've administered over £1,000,000 in grants and provided thousands of hours of free guidance to hundreds of community projects so they can:
- Pay for bikes, tools and storage
- Teach cycle training and maintenance
- Organise educational and enjoyable cycling events
By promoting group working, teaching practical skills, and through the therapeutic effects of outdoor activity and exercise, these cycling projects have given thousands of adults and children in the capital an opportunity to improve their lives and enjoy the benefits of cycling.
