Borough groups organise local rides, campaigns and drinks

All our borough groups, over 30 of them, are run by a volunteer co-ordinator (or jointly in a some instances).

Co-ordinators are cyclists who've often been involved with our organisation for several years, and have strong connections with local cyclists, community groups, businesses and (not least) councillors.

Through a network of fellow volunteers, co-ordinators organise local rides, events, meetings, campaigns and drinks.

We have a full-time member of staff, Gerhard Weiss, who's role as cycling development officer is to co-ordinate with the co-ordinators.

Gerhard is the former co-ordinator of the Waltham Forest group so has an intimate knowledge of the issues local groups have to deal with.

If you're interested in finding out about local group activities, or volunteering with them, then please get in touch using the links on the left.

As an member, you're automatically a member of our local groups, and you're welcome at any of them so you could be involved with one where you live and one where you work if you choose.

Non-members are encouraged to take part in rides and events too, though if you're a regular, we like it if you join.
