Ride around the local park organised as part of Bike Week 2009

Bromley Cyclists are working in partnership with the London Borough to put on a festival of all things bike, the Bromley Bike Blast.

Until now, Bromley Cyclists have been organising monthly cycle-a-mile rides to help locals become more confident on their bikes.

In order to encourage even more locals to take to their bikes, they are now organising a massive cycling festival to spread the work and attract even more participants to their regular rides.

The festival will include parades with bikes of all shapes and sizes from folding bikes to the weird and wacky, Bike M.O.Ts, try-out areas and obstacle courses, advice and information and lots of stalls and entertainment.

This promises to be a fantastic event and will be a great family day out, inspiring many more people to get on their bikes.

Lambeth Cyclists will be organising a led ride from Brixton and the event is hoping to attract people from all over London.

It takes place at Norman Park from 12-5pm. For more information please see the Bromley Cyclists (link on the right) or download the flyer from the right side menu of this page.
