Cycling needs greater role in Plan

London Cycling Campaign has responded positively to the Mayor's Plan for London, with three main caveats. Firstly, there needs to be a policy to reduce Londoners' need to travel, secondly, the practicality and provision of cycling and walking need to be referenced continually alongside public transport throughout and thirdly the importance of increased road safety on Londoners' lives needs to be recognised.
