Keela women's ADS zip top

KEELA Women’s ADS Zip-top

Having made a name for itself in the outdoors market — especially as a kit supplier to UK mountain rescue teams — Scottish firm Keela’s now branching out into multi-activity wear. This short-sleeved jersey is part of a range of softshells, fleeces, trousers and baselayers aimed at cyclists and those doing fast-paced activities. It comes in a good range of sizes, none of which is ‘tight’ as you sometimes find with jerseys — and other colourways include blue, white and hi-vis yellow.

The brushed inner surface of the fabric feels good next to the skin and it’s made using what the company refers to as ‘ADS technology’. Sounds grand but it’s the reason this top is so wickable; it draws moisture away from the body and disperses it over a wide area, keeping you dry when you’re over-exerting. The deep zip also helps with venting on hot days and there’s also in-built UV protection. Tucked away very tidily along the side seam is a concealed secret stash pocket with internal ring for a key. Overall, there’s not much to dislike in this top, especially at such a keen price. AW
