Kev Livingstone to speak at LCC AGM

LCC staff and volunteers

We're pleased to announce that Mayor Ken Livingstone will be speaking at London Cycling Campaign's Annual General Meeting, on October 16th. Mr Livingstone will be doing a presentation on cycling in London between 6pm and 6.30pm. The event takes place at City Hall, London SE1 2AA.

The evening will also feature the famous London Cycling Awards, presented by community cycling hero Liz Bowgett, who started a cycling club at New City Primary School five years ago. Cycling is now taught to children from nursery to Year 6, with bikes for every child. The awards will celebrate the capital's greatest contributions to cycling, with categories for Best Cycle Facility, Best Community Cycling Initiative, Best Cycling Initiative for Young People or Children and Best Workplace Cycling Initiative.

The night will finish with LCC's Annual General Meeting, with reports from the Board and Staff, the approval of accounts, election of Board members and members' motions.

The event is open to all, but you must register and only those who are current members on October 16th, 2007 will be able to vote. To register, fill in the form below.

Please note that due to the postal strike we regret that we will not be able to send out AGM information packs, but they will be available on the evening. The deadline for registration is Monday, 15th October at 5pm.
