LCC staff and volunteers were among the hundreds who attended the autumn Cyclenation campaigners conference in Nottingham last month.

Community cycling officer Rosie Tharp presented at the event on the theme of successful community partnership working.

Cyclenation is the UK federation of cycle campaigners, and represents groups from as far afield as Inverness, Leeds, Swansea, Taunton and the Isle of Wight.

LCC communications officer Mike Cavenett said, "The conference was superbly organised by Cyclenation and Pedals, the Nottingham cycle campaign group.

Chance to share ideas with fellow campaigners
"It's a great opportunity to exchange ideas with fellow campaigners, and hear some excellent speakers."

The conference ran over three days, with talks, workshops and rides organised for participants.

The next Cyclenation conference is expected to be in Portsmouth in the spring, with registration likely to cost around £20.
