Nominate a winner!

We want your nominations for the London Cycling Awards. If you know of a promising cycling initiative or facility implemented/completed since April 2005, here’s your chance to reward and encourage good work.
The categories this year are:

  • Best Cycle Facility

  • Best Community Cycling Initiative

  • Best Cycling Initiative for Young People or Children

  • Best Workplace Cycling Initiative

Nominations are open to anyone, including self-nominations. Nominated work must have been implemented/completed since April 2005 and be within London. Last year’s winners included a school bike club in Newham, a community celebration of cycling in Tower Hamlets, a simple and sensible bike track in Southwark and a radio bike show.

Nominations – to be received by Friday 27 October – might include community events to recruit new cyclists, cycle confidence training projects, cycle parking provision, new cycle routes or school cycling projects.
Awards will be presented at LCC’s AGM on Wednesday 22 November - click here for more information.

Guidance notes and criteria for the awards are downloadable here or you can get them sent from the LCC offices (see contact details below).

Please send your nomination - including the exact location with map (if applicable) - along with a description and an explanation of why it deserves an award to: LCC Awards, 2 Newhams Row, London SE1 3UZ or by email.
