Product review: Huez Dri-Wink T

Huez is a fairly recent entrant to the burgeoning cycle clothing market, offering a range aimed at the “everyday cyclist and stylish commuter”. This fun tech tee sits alongside smart office jackets, trousers, shirts, shorts and windproofs.

Made from Dri-release fabric which wicks moisture away from your body, this top can be worn on its own or under other layers. Compared to a cotton t-shirt it keeps you considerably drier, but we didn’t find it as fast-wicking as other performance baselayers we regularly use. We put it through the grinder on one wet multi-day trip and it came up as good as new after cleaning.

It’s looser-fitting, which will suit recreational riders, though we found it a bit short when leaning forward on the handlebars. The front ‘wink’ print is matched with a ‘make your escape’ slogan on the rear and there’s neat stitch detail on the cuffs, neck and hem. Blue or white; S-XXL.
