Cover applies anywhere in the British Isles with automatic world-wide extension for up to 3 months in any insurance year. Further conditional extension is available at an extra premium.
If your cycle is stolen we pay for a new replacement cycle of the same model or, if unavailable, a cycle of similar specification up to the sum insured with no reduction for wear and tear, depreciation etc. The Underwriters reserve the right to replace or reinstate the insured cycle where appropriate.
Loss or damage
Loss of or damage to cycle and accessories in a crash (cover does not include mechanical and electrical failures not resulting from a crash).
Theft of your cycle and accessories (but not theft of accessories alone; cycle must be locked).
This is covered but massed start or circuit racing is not, unless racing extension is included in the policy.
£25 on all claims for accidental damage and theft of parts. £50 excess for tandems and recumbents. Increased excesses will apply for cycles over £1,000.
A 10% or a minimum £25 excess on the theft of cycles (a standard insurance condition).
