The second annual Tweed Run took place on Saturday 10 April 2010, with 400 cyclists riding around central London dressed in tweed and other classic attire.

LCC helped marshal the event and had a photographer at the meeting point to capture the fabulous outfits that cyclists had worn for the day (see the photos in the next issue of London Cyclist).

Marketing manager Lucy Cooper said, "It was a massive success, superbly organised, and everyone looked amazing.

"It's no wonder that registration filled up in an hour, as it's great fun. Londoners should be proud that the ride is being copied all over the world.

"The Tweed Run also reinforces the message that you don't have to wear Lycra, day-glo and a crash helmet to ride a bicycle."
