Every child should be able to cycle to school safely. Every family should be able to cycle to the park safely. Everyone should be able to cycle to the high street safely.

This already happens in the parts of London where there is a safe, connected cycle network.

We asked the candidates to be your council’s next leader to commit to building a cycle network across the borough if elected on the 7th of May.

Thanks to members and supporters, we got pledges of support from candidates all over London!

SEE WHO'S PLEDGED

Our local groups all over London asked council leadership candidates to pledge to build a safe, connected cycle network if elected on the 7th of May.

Safe everywhere, fun for everyone.

Cycling should be safe everywhere and fun for everyone across London.

Achieving that is simple: you need to build a safe, connected cycle network, with a mix of low traffic streets and protected space for cycling on main roads. Do that, and you make cycling for anyone and everyone.

Council leaders have the power to make this happen and the funds available for it. So we kept it simple this council elections and asked council leaders to complete the core cycling network Transport for London has identified for your borough by 2030.
